white eye


tiny pale green birds
white-eyed acrobats
dazzle us with daring feats
among the camellia blossoms

  2. Nice! We have little finch-like birds here too, called 'wax-eyes.' They sound very similar to the ones you describe, though they prefer the 'bottle-brush' (and other nectar producing) trees, arriving in the early morning and evening to feed. They are entertaining indeed.
